[00:00:00] Let me bring you into the program. My very next guest and hopefully a future member of Congress from the great state of Colorado, it’s a Lorrin Bobert on the hotline. More in the Brauchler on the program. How are you?
[00:00:13] Good morning, Jimmy. I am doing excellent. I’m getting ready to start another day of campaigning. We certainly are not taking the Biden approach here and our campaign in the district. I am somewhere new every single day meeting with people. But I do have an opponent who is taking the same exact approach as Biden, and she’s stuck in her basement there in the high country.
[00:00:37] Yeah, it’s very fascinating. Mitt’s Bush is her is her name, and she’s running against you, portraying herself to be a moderate. You just have to do a little bit a Google rising and find out that she’s not a moderate, but she wants your freedom. She’s not on the campaign trail. She’s hiding out, trying to make everybody think she wants to hear their voices. But I don’t know what voices she’s hearing in her basement. But it’s not the people of the congressional district.
[00:01:02] Jimmy too afraid of herself. She knows that she cannot hide that socialist professor in her seat. She gets her her point, your finger going and lets everybody know that she’s an elitist and she’s smarter than them. And and she is hiding from herself right now. She knows that she can’t contain that. And, you know, it’s interesting, of course, you’ve been lying about me. We see it on TV every single day. I expected that. But what I didn’t expect was for her to lie about herself so much and then get a free pass at it. It’s incredible. She’s telling voters she’s an independent. Tell me she’s not an independent. He is a far left high in the basement job killing socialist. And her her policies would destroy our economy, destroy that beautiful 33 percent GDP that we just saw would kill our jobs and bankrupt our country. So she’s attacking me personally with these lies. I don’t know if you know this or not, Jimmy, but my opponent is a lying liar who lies. And if this was legit, attacking me personally because he can’t win on policy. But I get it. No, if my policies affected our country the way hers do, I wouldn’t run on that either.
Lakey [00:02:22] I like how they try to portray you. And I’ve read some media accounts and I hear some media accounts. Lauren Boebert, part of the far right. And yet somehow they let your opponent get by with calling yourself an independent. I don’t view you as far right at all. I think you’re right in mainstream conservative, right there with what the Trump conservative base is at That’s where you’re at. But it is amazing how the media will let the people describe you as far-right. And yet let her self-describe as an independent when the facts on the table show she is anything but independent. And by my definition, you’re anything but far-right.
Boebert [00:02:56] Exactly. It’s incredible. And, you know, I don’t know what’s extreme about standing for the Constitution of the United States, getting back to the roots that we were founded on, loving people and showing them compassion and creating opportunities for them, rather than saying, ‘Hey, I have this policy in mind that’s going to kill your industry, that’s currently paying the bills. And when that industry is gone, I have a government program waiting for you. I don’t know if you know it or not, Jamie, but that’s exactly my my opponent’s big economic plan for the district. Her energy policies alone could disqualify her from representing the people and Colorado’s 3rd District, where 80 percent federal lands. We have the cleanest resources. This world has to offer the cleanest coal that this world has to offer. We have the Jordan coal pipeline that we could ask for our clean liquid natural gas globally. We can we can export that to countries who are currently dependent on communist dictators for their energy. And we could liberate them. My opponent, she wants to side with Iranian terrorists. She wants to outsource our energy to China and Africa. And Jimmy, we know that child and slave labor is often used there. And, you know, so she she wants to shut it all down. She’s taken an anti fossil fuel pledge. She refuses to support that Jordan Cove pipeline that the Trump administration has helped push through. And and right there on her Web site, she says. We have a government program waiting for you in this industry, you he has a work to welfare program waiting for the people here in this district. We’re going to kill your job and then we’re gonna put you on welfare.
Lakey [00:04:36] Now, hold tight. Lauren Bulwer, my guest, she’s a candidate for Congress in the 3rd Congressional District. Some of you listening this program up in what we call the high country. And that’s not about marijuana. That’s just your elevation. Just so be aware, if you’re up in the high country, probably. Well, even if you’re far south listing of that twenty five corridor and you’re picking up the boomin signal of 600 KCA, well, it’s a huge congressional district. Lauren Bobridge probably campaigning somewhere near you. Let me take a break. I’ll come back. Third Congressional District candidate for Congress, Lauren Bobert, Colorado. There’s a lot of things in politics we don’t have to like in Colorado, including a down to the governor’s mansion. But this is a chance for Colorado to shine some red back to D.C. I hope will do that. Ladies and gentlemen, Lauren Bobrick with me on the other side of this break. It’s Newstalk 600, Casey Lowell. It happens to be me. Welcome to the program, my show, at least for now, until they until they named it after bam bam, bam, bam morning show one day. It’s what’s going to happen. Ladies and gentlemen, this is by Congressman Paul Gosa. They’ll love this. He said the media went through Brett Kavanaugh. For him. Brett Kavanaugh, Supreme Court justice. They went through his a yearbook and his childhood calendars, his diary, his journal as a young man he kept.
[00:06:00] But the media won’t go through Hunter Biden’s laptop.
[00:06:05] Oh, there’s truth in that, my friend. As we used to say in the South, that dog hunt, they went through a Kavanagh. He got the old exam, just did the 3rd Congressional District.
[00:06:17] But a lot of folks but a lot of folks in the front range don’t understand how big the PERA the size of this district. Folks don’t understand. And even though our signal reaches to the 3rd congressional career, the size of this district, folks don’t understand. Get her past the finish line here and send her as a great representative of the state of Colorado. Snow. Where’s your hypocrisy? All right. Let me bring Lauren Bobert in again. Congressional candidate for the 3rd Congressional District. I’m going to tell you how you can contribute to help her get her out, get her, get her, pass the finish line here and send her as a great representative of the state of Colorado. Lauren Bobert is my guest now. Lauren, first of all, it’s all about the size of this district. You’re Diane. Mitch. Bush has been hiding in her basement as probably not even deserved an oil change here because of her campaign tactics. She’s not really campaigning. You’ve been campaigning nonstop even as the weather has changed a little bit. I’m sure you’ve had some weather issues here and there. But talk about the size of this district. Folks don’t understand. And even though our signal reaches to the third congressional district that a lot of folks in the front range don’t understand how big the third district is. Give us that description.
Boebert [00:07:27] Do we have fifty two thousand square miles here in this district? And I have put distance just since June 1st excuse me, July 1st. I’ve put on thirty thousand miles on my car. We have 29 of the western most counties in Colorado. It’s it’s nearly half the state. It’s incredibly large, but it is it it’s so amazing traveling to each community every single day. I’m in a new community meeting with new people and even even the places that I’ve been five to 10 times, there are still new people showing up. They are passionate about the direction this country is going. And they want to play a role in that. They want to be a part of that. We’re not we’re not sitting by and just letting government happen because we have the government we deserve whenever we do that. And so people are engaged now more than ever. And I really wanted to be a part of this process. People who don’t vote are coming out to vote. They’re they’re looking into these candidates. We have Democrats on a regular basis saying I can’t do it anymore. My party has left me the destruction, the chaos, the violence that they’re seeing. Any Democrat ruled cities, they’ve had enough with it that they’ve been defund the police movement. That that they’re seeing. They said no more. We want our law enforce our law enforcement officers to have everything that they need to protect our communities to do the job that they signed up for. They say if there’s an entire party right now wanting to defund them and we proudly stand and back the brave men and women in blue who put their lives on the line each and every day. Yesterday was a national first responders day, and I was a Steamboat Springs yesterday honoring those men and women who lay their lives on the line for their community. Each and every day who have families waiting for them at home, not knowing if they’re going to come home and sit at the dinner table with them or not. This is becoming a more increasingly dangerous job as 20-20 goes on. And so we have a Democrat saying no more. I can’t I can’t support a party who is endorsing this, who who will not condemn this and take control of the situation. So it’s it’s a very interesting district. We have this town and and we have very rural communities and agriculture of farmers. I’ve been talking with the steelworkers down in Pueblo. Hundreds of them who were laid off because of poor energy policies. And, you know, I’m ready to get them back to work. I’m ready to get our economy going again.
Lakey [00:10:01] Lauren Bobert is my guest. Nearby, a week from today, we will know whether she has won that election. I hope to goodness she was a will. Just on sheer effort, Diane Mitsch, Bush doesn’t seem to want to do much. She’s so active. Who’s campaigning less her or Joe Biden? I’m not sure. But nevertheless, you’re working hard and you’re putting the miles on the car. If folks want to help you here, Lauren, last minute to get across the finish line, get your message out. Money is the mother’s milk of politics. I get it. How can folks reach out to you? How can they contact you? How could they meet you? How can they donate to you?
Boebert [00:10:33] Yeah, so I need dollars and votes right now. Lauren for Colorado, dot com. Every single dollar counts. It’s going towards advertising. There has been millions poured into this race for the Democrats to try to buy their way into Congress. And we’re just not going to let it happen. There’s been more than three point five million dollars spent on negative attack ads against me. And, you know, they’re not really moving the dial like they had hoped because people see right through it. They see the lies that are in it. They see that. You know, I have I may have a mugshot from one hundred dollar traffic ticket, but on their ad, they clearly put dramatizations, you know, and so they’re they’re fabricating the story and trying to make me look like I’m something that I’m not. They’re spending millions of dollars doing it. And we need we need our people to show up. Diane, Miss. But she has been on the record telling her and her supporters we are losing in the grassroots money raising efforts. [00:11:31]And she said that Lauren has tapped into the GOP extremist and is winning the grassroots. There’s nothing extreme about grassroots. We are the people. We are the ones who are driving up this at this district in the direction that we want to go. So I need that grassroots support now more than ever. And I need everybody to get out and vote. [17.8s]
[00:11:49] Just may I got to run. I’ve got a hard break. Lauren, I. Isn’t that Jenna, Colorado, married for Colorado. Get out and vote and send her a couple of bucks. Hey, Diane. Mitch Bush, by the way, if you think I’m an extremist, I’d love you to come on the show and tell me that and to explain it to me. I’ll be back to Newstalk 600, Casey Wood.
