HOST KRIS COOK:

  • [the night before Election Day in the GOP primaries] — What are you thinking?

CANDIDATE FOR COLORADO STATE SENATE, LAURA WOODS:

  • Going hard and strong going into primary day tomorrow
  • Momentum
  • If voters want more of the same, they can throw away their ballot or vote for my opponent
  • I am someone who will go to the dome and fight for our liberties and rights

COOK:

  • That’s what we need – fighters and warriors.  And you’ve proven yourself – Hudak recall

WOODS:

  • This is the next step in getting her out of office
  • The final step comes in November
  • We need to get ‘er done.

COOK:

  • What can people do?  — fill out their ballots, and what else?

WOODS:

  • That’s right
  • We’ve been walking streets, knocking doors, making phone calls
    • Teams of 12
    • Last three days solid
    • Tell a friend
    • Encourage friends, neighbors, coworkers and family to fill out their ballots
    • Drop your ballots off
      • Can’t be mailed now
      • Vote for the true conservative (me)
      • Shout out for couple others who need help in primaries
        • Tony Sanchez
        • Justin Everett
        • They are freedom fighters as well

COOK:

  • That’s the Liberty Rock Star slate – tony in SD 22 and Justin in HD-22, you in SD-19.  Evie’s old district

WOODS:

  • [describes district boundaries]
  • [describes southern district of Tony’s District]
  • Justin is around in the Littleton, Centennial area as well
  • Wish I knew the districts better than I do.

COOK:

  • And Justin is south of Columbine HS, I do know that much.  So make sure you get your ballots in, and drop it at a polling place… vote a flat ballot, if you’re concerned about secrecy and we all should be right now

WOODS:

  • That’s right
  • We have same day registration, thanks to Dems
  • So if you’re unaffiliated, go down, change affiliation to R for a couple days, vote in the primary, be a part of the change – you can unaffiiate again
  • But you can be a part of the change right now, by electing someone who will stand up for the Constituion
    • New verb – BRAT your opponent
    • We need Justin, Tony, and Laura to go Brat their opponent

COOK:

  • I have lots of friends who have unaffiliated because they’re so disgusted with the Republican party

WOODS:

  • And why not

COOK:

  • Exactly, that’s what I rave about here every day, seems like.  But this is how you change the Republican Party, by getting people like Laura elected, that’s how you change it over  –to a more reasonable, sane place —  instead of way over here on the left, where the establishment seems to like  to play.

WOODS:

  • That’s where my opponent like to play, as well.
  • I appreciate your support
  • We’ll be watching the polls tomorrow night closely

COOK:

  • Laura brings up a great point. – this is how we change the Party, by voting in the primary
